In response to the incident, the police have formed three teams to investigate the case from all possible angles.

Hassan police chief Mohammed Sujeeta stated, “The woman was working at a school and was kidnapped on a day when the school was closed. We are trying to determine why she left her home and went to the school when it was shut. Was there any function or other work that she had to attend? We are thoroughly investigating every aspect.”
