The grand screening of Zoya Akhtar’s film “The Archies” was a star-studded affair with almost everyone from Bollywood in attendance. Netflix India shared some inside photos from the event, and the pictures are nothing short of magical. The Bachchans were seen cheering for Agastya Nanda, while Shah Rukh Khan and his family formed a cheer squad for Suhana. The Kapoors were rooting for Khushi. Netflix India captioned the photo album, “One magical night, countless emotions.” The first picture featured three generations of the Bachchan family – Abhishek, Amitabh Bachchan, and Agastya Nanda. The second click captured Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. Zoya Akhtar received cheers from Hrithik Roshan and Sana Azad. Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, and Neetu Kapoor were also pictured with Juhi Chawla at the screening.
Rumored couple Aditya Roy Kapur and Ananya Panday were spotted together at the event. Dot, who plays Ethel Muggs in the film, was seen with Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar. Sunny Kaushal and Sharvari were all smiles. A picture-perfect frame captured Shah Rukh Khan and Vir Das together.
The Hindi adaptation of “The Archie” comics has been directed by Zoya Akhtar and co-produced by Zoya Akhtar, Reema Kagti, and Sharad Devarajan under their production houses Tiger Baby and Graphic India. The film will be released on streaming giant Netflix on December 7.
