Ice hockey In the NHL, Anton Lundell of the Florida Panthers continued his streak of powerful performances, contributing 1 goal and 1 assist. The Panthers defeated the Buffalo Sabers 4-0. Lundell was involved in the team’s 2-0 and 4-0 goals, the latter of which was finished off by Ryan Lomberg.
Earlier in the evening, Lundell scored two goals against the Pittsburgh Penguins, breaking his scoreless streak.

Florida’s Captain Alexander Barkov also scored, contributing the team’s opening goal. The goal was set up by Carter Verhaeghe.
With the win, Florida now leads the Atlantic division.
dallas Stars’ Miro Heiskanen helped his team defeat the Nashville Predators 9-2. Heiskanen scored the team’s fifth goal.
It was a tough evening for Nashville’s Finns. Juuse Saros was replaced after the first set, having conceded four goals. Dallas led 4-0 after the first set, with shots on goal overwhelmingly at 18-1.
Kevin Lankinen, who took over the goal for Nashville in the second round, didn’t fare any better. He conceded five goals.
Last Artturi Lehkonen performed well for the Colorado Avalanche against the Tampa Bay Lighting, but Tampa won the match 6-3. Lehkonen almost helped his team draw level at 2-2 and take the lead at 3-2, but Colorado’s efforts fell short. His teammate Mikko Rantanen assisted in the 1-0 goal.
Eeli Tolvanen of the Seattle Kraken scored his team’s 2-1 goal against the Boston Bruins. Seattle won the match 4-1. The goal was a welcome change for Tolvanen, who had been scoreless in recent games.
Kaapo Kako had a successful game, scoring a goal for the New York Rangers. His goal helped the Rangers to a 7-3 lead, with the team eventually defeating the Montreal Canadiens 7-4.
Kako, who has mostly been assisting in recent games, last scored a goal on January 27.
The Rangers’ win marked their sixth consecutive victory. Chris Kreider was the top scorer of the evening, completing a hat trick. Auston Matthews of Toronto also scored a hat trick in a 4-3 overtime win over Philadelphia.
