Samsung Electronics has introduced a new series of notebooks, namely the Galaxy Book4 Ultra, Galaxy Book4 Pro, Galaxy Book4 Pro 360 and Galaxy Book4 360. Each of these models are designed to provide users with a combination of high performance, vivid touchscreens and advanced connectivity. The overall aim is to deliver experiences that are both “intelligent and powerful”.
The announcement of the new Galaxy Book4 series came with the news that they will be made available in selected countries from February 26th. This follows a successful debut in Korea on January 2, where sales were 50% higher than the previous Galaxy Book3 series. Given this, commercial expectations for the Galaxy Book4 series are high. TM Roh, head of the Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung Electronics, has expressed optimism for the series’ potential, highlighting its “intelligence, connectivity and productivity” capabilities as a significant step forward for Samsung’s premium line of notebooks.
One of the defining characteristics of the Galaxy Book4 series is its integration of advanced hardware and features, all of which are designed to facilitate “intelligent” productivity. For instance, the flagship model, the Galaxy Book4 Ultra, comes equipped with the latest Intel Core Ultra 9/7 processor. This promises improved performance due to the union of CPU, GPU and a new NPU. In addition, it features increased security through the Samsung Knox chip. The Galaxy Book4 Pro and Galaxy Book4 Ultra devices are also notable for their Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. This ensures vivid colors and sharp contrasts, with optimal vision even in bright conditions due to Vision Booster technology and anti-glare screens. Samsung has also highlighted the “Galaxy Connected Experience”. This is designed to keep the user connected with the Galaxy device ecosystem through features such as Second Screen and Multi Control, which facilitate file sharing and extension of the notebook screen. The Galaxy Book4 series will be available in Italy, France, Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States.
