Framework Agreement Signed for Finland’s F-35 Fighter Procurement

Bittium, a leading player in the Defense and Security market, and the consortium led by its subsidiary Bittium Wireless Oy have taken a crucial step in their strategic journey. They have signed a framework agreement for indirect industrial cooperation related to the F-35 fighter acquisition with the renowned US defense company, Lockheed Martin.

This framework agreement, which is a part of the indirect industrial cooperation for Finland’s F-35 fighter procurement, is a testament to the consortium’s shared vision for enhancing defense capabilities. The agreement, spanning three years, will see the consortium and Lockheed Martin working closely to develop advanced methods and capabilities for spectrum management. The consortium, led by Bittium, includes prestigious members such as the Technology Research Center VTT Oy and Huld Oy, a company known for providing technological solutions for the space industry. The framework agreement, which is applicable from 2024 to 2026, has a total value of approximately 3.7 million US dollars. This amount will be distributed among the consortium member companies in proportion to the work performed by each.
