In an unexpected twist during a game of Montenegro’s top-tier football, a peculiar goal was scored in a match between Youth from Donja Gorica and A little boy, which was held this Wednesday. The game ended in the favor of the guests with a score of 0-3. The visitors managed to take the lead at the very end of the first half. This was achieved by a goal scored by Bojan Matić, who managed to strike it from around ten meters away. This was made possible after the defender from the home team, Zvonko Ceklić, moved out of his way.
The commentator from the Radiotelevision of Montenegro was left astonished by the unexpected move of the Mladost player. Unable to hide his surprise, he commented, “Alas… Ceklić jumped, the ball went under him and ended up in the goal. Shooter Matić. Here, look at how Ceklić put his feet away. What is this all about? Why? Here, look. Incredibly. And as expected.”
It’s noteworthy to mention that Mladost is the reigning champion of the first Montenegrin league, while Dečić leads the league. Many anticipated that a goal would be scored even before the first half concluded. However, the goal didn’t materialize until the time of compensation. Towards the end of the game, two more goals were scored in the 85th and 87th minutes, culminating in a seemingly routine 3-0 victory. The odds for their victory were placed at 1.25, while the odds for the home team stood at nine.
