Man and Woman Engage in Huge Altercation Over Dog in Noida Apartment Elevator

A disagreement over bringing a dog into an elevator resulted in a violent altercation between residents in a Noida apartment on Monday. It all started when a retired civil servant refused to let a woman bring her dog into the lift at Park Laureate Society in Sector 108. The situation quickly escalated as both individuals began filming the incident on their phones. The woman eventually snatched the man’s phone, leading to a physical confrontation that was captured by CCTV cameras.

During the clash, it appears that the man slapped the woman. Her husband then arrived on the scene and she recounted the incident to him. As the altercation continued, the woman prevented other residents from entering the lift in an attempt to protect the man. Security officers from the apartment complex had to intervene to separate the two men.

After the video of the clash went viral on social media, the police were alerted and they reviewed the CCTV footage. Both parties involved have provided written statements to the police, requesting that no action be taken against them. However, the police have stated that they will continue their investigation into the matter.

The issue of whether dogs are allowed in lifts has been a contentious topic between pet owners and apartment residents throughout the country. Numerous clashes over this issue have been reported in recent times. In a similar incident last year, a pet owner in Greater Noida was fined Rs 10,000 after his dog bit a six-year-old child in an apartment lift.
