Two unclaimed boxes found at the parking lot of Shivamogga railway station in Karnataka have sparked a bomb scare, according to a police official. The boxes, which had “Made in Bangladesh, food grains and sugars” written on them, were discovered, prompting the police to call in a bomb disposal team. Authorities have placed barricades and sandbags around the boxes to prevent people from approaching them. The police are currently investigating the identity of the individuals who left the boxes unattended. The bomb disposal team from Bengaluru is expected to arrive soon to open the boxes. Further information is yet to be disclosed.
