A fire broke out in an ammunition depot located in the Russian-occupied Donetsk Oblast, according to Petro Andriushchenko, an advisor to the exiled mayor of Mariupol. The depot, situated in the coastal village of Sedovo, near the border with Russia’s Rostov Oblast, has been engulfed in explosions. Andriushchenko stated that the detonations are expected to continue until the following morning. Reports from the area indicate that only a third of the facility has been destroyed, but it is believed that nothing can be salvaged. The village of Sedovo had been transformed by Russian forces into an ammunition depot and parking area for military vehicles.
The full extent of the damage is yet to be determined, but satellite images will likely be used to assess the situation. The cause of the explosion remains unconfirmed at this time.

This ship is capable of carrying up to eight Kalibr missiles, which Russian forces utilize to target infrastructure in Ukraine. Since mid-July, there have been regular drone and missile attacks on Russian military depots and infrastructure in occupied Crimea.
