Portland Woman Launches Racist Attack Following Confrontation with Black Security Guard over Alleged Theft

A 43-year-old white woman from Portland named Janee Jewell Plummer has been charged with multiple crimes including bias crime, harassment, theft, and robbery. According to KATU, during her arrest, Plummer admitted to not intending to pay for the food and made racially derogatory statements, expressing her dislike for Black people and repeatedly using racial slurs.

In addition, Plummer allegedly tried to push a security guard while falsely claiming to own the store. This behavior, which is both racist and illegal, is not new for Plummer. She has had a total of 17 convictions since 1999, as reported by KATU.

Plummer’s most recent conviction prior to this incident was in February for attempted robbery. She received a sentence of 14 days in county jail and five years of probation. During that incident, she was accused of attempting to kidnap a woman’s dogs while threatening her with a hammer and making death threats.

Plummer’s actions are unacceptable and demonstrate a pattern of criminal behavior. It is important to hold individuals accountable for their actions, especially when they involve racism and harassment.
