Explosive Book Reveals Trump’s Demands for Quid Pro Quo with Kim Kardashian, Followed by Fallout over Biden

Former President Trump reportedly had a different response to Kim Kardashian’s request for a criminal justice-related favor after the 2020 presidential election. According to Jonathan Karl’s upcoming book “Tired of Winning,” Trump responded with a firm “Hell no” and hung up on the reality TV star. This incident was in stark contrast to their meeting in the Oval Office in 2018, where Kardashian discussed prison reform and sentencing with Trump. Following that meeting, Trump granted clemency to Alice Johnson, who was serving a life sentence on nonviolent drug and money laundering charges.

In Karl’s book, he reveals that Kardashian later urged Trump to grant more commutations. However, Trump allegedly demanded a quid pro quo, saying he would grant the commutations if Kardashian used her celebrity connections to get football stars who were friends of hers to visit him at the White House. Kardashian attempted to fulfill Trump’s request, viewing it as a small price to pay for justice, but all the players she approached declined due to Trump’s toxicity.

After Trump left the White House in 2021, Kardashian reached out to him again for support in other clemency efforts. However, Trump refused, saying, “Hell no. You voted for Biden and now you come asking me for a favor?” He then hung up on her.

It is worth noting that while Kardashian never publicly endorsed a 2020 White House candidate, she did post heart emojis on a photo of then-President-elect Biden and Kamala Harris on social media after the November election. In 2021, Kardashian stated that she aligned with both political parties, believing in the rights that Democrats support but also the taxes that Republicans advocate for.

A spokesperson for Trump criticized Karl’s book, calling it “filth” and suggesting it belonged in the fiction section or as toilet paper.
