Riot police clashed with demonstrators in Washington, DC on November 15, as they called for a ceasefire in Gaza. Videos captured by Chuck Modiano showed officers forcefully pulling and pushing protesters outside the Democratic National Committee headquarters. The organizers of the demonstration claimed that police responded with extreme force and did not provide any warnings or requests to disperse. In response, Capitol police stated that the demonstrators failed to comply with their lawful orders to move away from the area, while also highlighting that members of Congress were present inside the building.
