Reckless Driver Executes Dangerous Stunt on Flooded Lane of 10 Freeway

Drivers in Southern California are being urged to exercise caution and reduce their speed as a second round of storms hits the area. The reminder comes as flooding was observed on both sides of the 10 Freeway near the San Pedro Street exit in downtown Los Angeles on Thursday morning. A driver in a black Honda Civic was captured on video navigating through standing water on the westbound side of the freeway. The driver then abruptly switched lanes and swerved between two other lanes, causing a chain reaction among two other vehicles that narrowly avoided a collision. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.

To minimize the risk of encountering floodwater, drivers are advised to stay in the outside lanes rather than the inside lanes, as stormwater tends to accumulate there. Wet conditions are expected to persist in the region throughout the weekend.
