Multiple School Children Catapulted Into Air After Auto and Truck Crash in Andhra

Eight children were injured in a shocking accident in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh when the auto-rickshaw they were traveling in collided with a truck. The entire incident was captured on CCTV footage from a nearby shop.

The children, who were on their way to Bethany School at around 7 am, were involved in the accident. The 35-second footage shows relatively light traffic at the Sangam Sarat Theatre junction. At 7:35 am, a speeding auto approaches from the left and crashes into a truck that is crossing the junction under a flyover. As the truck fails to stop, the impact flings the schoolchildren out of the auto.
