Several demonstrators took to the streets of San Francisco on November 15 as President Joe Biden and President Xi Jinping met at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit. Filmed by Darren Stallcup, the footage shows individuals waving flags of the United States and China, as well as people holding signs that read “No to APEC,” near the Moscone Convention Center. Earlier in the day, other protesters against APEC and pro-Palestinian groups caused traffic disruptions and prevented attendees from entering the conference, according to local media reports. The summit, which brings together senior leaders from the West and the Asia-Pacific regions, is set to conclude on Friday.
