The incident happened when CR7 had to call upon his son after he noticed that the young boy had skipped the player greeting line. Surprisingly, Cristiano Júnior also overlooked his father during the process.
Cristiano Ronaldo Júnior is a part of Al-Nassr’s under-13 team, a team that recently celebrated a major victory by winning the Saudi League. This victory was not only a significant milestone for the team but also a proud moment for Cristiano Júnior.
The incident unfolded this Saturday (17) during an intense match between Al-Nassr’s main team and Al Fateh, as part of the Saudi championship. The victorious under-13 team was present at the event to be honored for their recent achievement.
During the player greeting line, Cristiano Júnior unexpectedly jumped the queue and did not greet all the players. This behaviour caught the attention of Cristiano Ronaldo who then called his son and gave him a stern yet fatherly advice, showing a bit of exasperation.
To lighten the situation, CR7 jokingly said to his son, “Son, then? Come here and give dad a kiss!”. This incident, though slightly unpleasant, showcased a lovely father-son moment between the two.
