Heroic Delhi Man Sacrifices His Life to Save Fellow Biker Injured in Tragic Accident

A man in Delhi lost his life while trying to save a fellow biker who was injured in an accident. The incident occurred near Kargil Chowk in Southwest Delhi on November 3, and a case was filed on Monday.

According to the First Information Report (FIR), Amarjeet Singh was driving to Gurugram around 10:20 pm on November 3 when his car was hit from behind by a motorcycle. Amarjeet, accompanied by an employee from his tea shop, stopped to investigate and found that the biker seemed to be drunk and had a head injury.

Several people stopped to offer help, including 46-year-old Shamsher Singh, who was also a motorcyclist. While waiting for the police to arrive, another person volunteered to take the injured biker to the hospital in their car. Amarjeet and Shamsher helped the injured man into the car, and it departed for the hospital.

Unfortunately, tragedy struck as Shamsher was about to leave on his bike. He was struck by a speeding water tanker with such force that he was thrown into the air and landed on the road. Upon hearing the news, Amarjeet got into his car and gave chase to the water tanker. He managed to overtake the vehicle in the Goyla Dairy area, but the driver abandoned the tanker and fled.

Shamsher Singh died at the scene of the accident. A case has been registered against the water tanker driver, and the investigation is ongoing. The initial biker who was injured is currently receiving treatment in a hospital, according to a police official from the Dwarka North police station.
