Online Discovery: Alleged Writings of Nashville School Shooter Reveal Disturbing Hate-Filled Messages

In March of this year, a tragic incident occurred at a school in Nashville, where a former student opened fire, resulting in the deaths of three children and three staff members. The shooter, Audrey Hale, was a 28-year-old Nashville resident and a transgender individual. Now, eight months later, a conservative commentator has released alleged writings by the shooter.

According to The New York Post, radio host Steven Crowder leaked pictures of the manifesto on Twitter, which reveal the shooter’s hatred towards white people and the planning of the crime. Some of the disturbing messages include phrases like “kill all you little crackers,” “I hope I have a high death count,” and “I’m ready…I hope my victims aren’t.”

One page from the alleged writings dated the day of the shooting expresses nervousness and excitement, stating, “Can’t believe I’m doing this but I’m ready…I hope my victims aren’t.” Another page includes Hale’s hour-by-hour schedule for the massacre, including tasks like “get dressed,” “eat breakfast,” “prepare for attack,” and “time 2 die.” Another entry dated February 3, 2023, mentions targeting children “with their white privileges.”

Authorities have not officially confirmed the authenticity of the shooter’s writings, but court filings mention the discovery of at least 20 journals, a suicide note, and a memoir left behind by the shooter after the incident. The Metro Nashville Police Department and the FBI are currently looking into the matter.

Some victims’ relatives and officials have called for the blocking of the release of these written materials, citing concerns about further traumatizing those affected. Nashville Mayor Freddie O’Connell has initiated an investigation into how these images were released, emphasizing the safety and well-being of the Covenant families and all Nashvillians who are grieving.

Fox 17 Nashville has reported that it has confirmed the authenticity of the writings through a source. It is important to note that Hale entered the Covenant School armed with assault rifles and a handgun, firing multiple shots before being stopped by the police. Hale had no prior criminal record before the shooting and had graduated from Nossi College of Art in 2022.

School shootings have unfortunately become alarmingly common in the United States, where the easy access to firearms has been a growing concern in recent years.
