Around 500 employees of OpenAI, an artificial intelligence startup, have threatened to resign and join Sam Altman, the former CEO, at Microsoft’s new division unless the current board resigns. This information was revealed in a letter obtained by Reuters. The resignations would include key personnel such as Chief Technology Officer Mira Murati, Chief Data Scientist Ilya Sutskever, and Chief Operating Officer Brad Lightcap. OpenAI has not yet responded to Reuters’ request for comment on the matter.
