Shocking Testimony Unveils Disturbing Account of Sexual Violence in October 7 Hamas Attack, Eyewitness Shares Grueling Details

A shocking eyewitness account of the October 7 Hamas attack has recently been revealed in a report published on Sunday. Yoni Saadon, who survived the attack on the Nova music festival, shared his horrifying experience with The Sunday Times. He described how he hid under the body of a woman who had been shot in the head, using her blood to camouflage himself. Additionally, he provided details of rape and mutilation that he witnessed during and after the attack.

According to Mr Saadon, he saw a group of fighters beating and raping a beautiful woman while she pleaded for them to stop. After they finished, one of the attackers coldly shot her in the head. Mr Saadon, a father of four, couldn’t help but think that it could have been one of his own daughters or his sister, whom he had planned to attend the festival with.

The survivor recounted that he witnessed this horrific act while seeking refuge under the body of another woman who had also been shot in the head. To make it appear as though he was dead, he smeared her blood on himself. The haunting image of the woman’s face stays with him every night, and he has expressed his apologies to her.

Eventually, Mr Saadon managed to escape the scene and joined others who were hiding in bushes. He witnessed more disturbing scenes, including one where a woman bravely tried to prevent two Hamas fighters from stripping her.

While Hamas denies allegations of sexual violence, the Israeli Defence Forces claim that captured operatives have confessed to being ordered to assault women. According to the IDF, after launching a barrage of rockets for cover, the attackers targeted border towns, kibbutzim, and a music festival, killing civilians and taking hostages. Israel reported that 1,200 people were killed, and over 200 hostages were taken to Gaza, which is under Hamas control.

In response, Israel made a vow to destroy Hamas and swiftly retaliated with intense aerial bombardment of Gaza. They also instructed residents in the north to evacuate to the south before launching a ground assault, causing significant destruction in the area.

Towards the end of November, a temporary truce was established to facilitate the release of hostages held by Hamas in Gaza in exchange for Palestinian detainees. However, after seven days and the release of women, children, and foreign hostages, mediators were unable to extend the agreement, leading to the collapse of the truce on December 1.
