At least 13 people lost their lives in a clash between two groups in Manipur’s Tengnoupal district on Monday, according to officials. The incident occurred in Leithu village during the afternoon. An official from the hill district revealed that a group of militants, en route to Myanmar, were ambushed by another insurgent group that holds dominance in the area. So far, security forces have recovered 13 bodies, but their identities have yet to be determined. However, it is believed that the deceased individuals are not locals.
