Tragic Loss of a Promising Rapper
In a tragic turn of events, the Mexican rap community has lost an emerging talent. Óscar Alan Vázquez, who had made a name for himself in the music industry under the moniker Majestic, tragically passed away on Tuesday. The young rapper, only 24 years old, drowned at the La Entrega beach located in Huatulco, Mexico. The unfortunate news was reported by the local media outlet, ‘El Heraldo de México’.
According to the information provided by the aforementioned source, the incident took place on the afternoon of Monday, February 19. However, the identity of the victim was only confirmed as the rapper Majestic in the early hours of the following day. Majestic was known for his distinct talent, as evidenced by his remarkable achievement of securing the runner-up position at the Red Bull Mexico 2023 competition.
As reported by local media, Majestic was having a leisurely day at the beach with four of his friends at the time of the incident. The young musician decided to take a swim in the sea, but tragically suffered a bronchoaspiration, leading to his untimely demise.
The Oaxaca Firefighters, the first responders to the scene, shared information about the incident on their ‘X’ account. They reported that their paramedics rushed to La Entrega beach to provide aid to a 24-year-old man who had “suffered an immersion in the sea with absent vital signs.” Despite their best efforts to revive him, the paramedics were unable to save his life, adding a somber note to the tragic event.
