4-Year-Old Boy Suffocates After Hiding in Dryer

In Palma de Mallorca, Spain, a tragic incident unfolded that left a family in deep sorrow. A four-year-old boy lost his life after climbing into a tumble dryer while his aunt was asleep on the couch and his grandmother was out shopping. The innocent child was playing hide and seek and unfortunately chose the dryer as his hiding spot. He shut the door behind him and tragically suffocated to death.

This heartbreaking event occurred on a Thursday afternoon in the tourist hotspot of Magaluf, Mallorca. The boy was under the care of his aunt and grandmother as his parents were occupied at work. Upon her return from her shopping trip, the grandmother and the boy’s aunt were met with the horrifying reality that the boy was missing. In a cruel twist of fate, they eventually discovered the child locked inside the clothes dryer situated on the family’s patio.
