Mumbai: A horrifying accident occurred on the Kolad-Pune highway in Pune last Saturday, leaving seven people injured. A speeding truck lost control and collided with multiple vehicles and motorcycles on the road. The truck, carrying cement blocks, smashed into at least six vehicles, causing chaos and engulfing the area in a cloud of dust. Terrified onlookers were seen running to safety as the truck wreaked havoc.
CCTV footage captured the terrifying moment when a biker, who had just pulled his vehicle out from a roadside parking spot, was violently thrown off by the truck brushing past him. Another motorcyclist was also thrown off his two-wheeler due to the impact of the collision.
Following the incident, the truck driver fled the scene, leaving behind a trail of destruction. A case has been registered against the driver, and authorities are currently searching for him.
The injured victims were promptly rushed to the hospital for medical treatment. Their current conditions have not been disclosed.
