On February 27, more than 60 companies at Zaventem Airport and beyond are preparing to present themselves to potential employees during the third Aviato job fair. Aviato is the employment center of Brussels Airport. In addition to the 400 job openings at the airport, there are also several hundred vacancies in other industry sectors in the surrounding area.
A press release issued on Tuesday stated: “Brussels Airport is a potent ecosystem and a significant contributor to the Belgian economy, with an influence that extends beyond its geographical boundaries. The participation of companies not directly linked to the aviation industry in the Aviato Job Fair underscores the strategic significance of the airport. It serves as a meeting place for talent from diverse sectors, a space where career opportunities are generated, and a reflection of the economic vitality of the region.”
Isabelle Borli from Aviatio noted that the labor market remains competitive and the number of professions in high demand continues to rise. “This challenge is felt by the companies at Brussels Airport,” she said.
Among the largest exhibitors are Brussels Airport Company, Aviapartner, G4SBelgium, and Lidl. Aviato stated that there are job vacancies available for every level of education and professional background, including positions for handlers, security officers, and technical and engineering profiles.
