Välimäki, in an impressive display of skill and determination, shares this coveted first position with Jake Knapp from the United States, Matt Wallace from England and Alvaro Ortizin from Mexico. They all boast a commendable score of 11 under par.
Välimäki started the second round of the competition in Mexico from an advantageous position, being in second place. His round was marked by seven birdies, which catapulted him to the top of the leaderboard. Välimäki is setting his sights high for the weekend’s rounds, exuding confidence and ambition.
