In a shocking incident in Kanpur, a 17-year-old boy was brutally murdered by his teacher’s boyfriend, who then attempted to make it look like a kidnapping by giving the boy’s family a ransom note, according to the police. The victim, a 10th-grade student, was lured into a store room by Prabhat Shukla, the lover of his tuition teacher, Rachita.
After analyzing CCTV footage, the police discovered that the boy willingly followed Prabhat from his home to the store room. Prabhat convinced him that his teacher, Rachita, was calling him, which led the boy to comply. The footage shows both Prabhat and the boy entering the room together.
Approximately 20 minutes later, Prabhat emerged from the room alone, while the boy remained inside. Further investigation suggests that no one else entered the room after Prabhat left. Suspiciously, Prabhat changed his clothes and was observed leaving on the boy’s scooter.
The police have apprehended Prabhat, Rachita (the teacher), and their friend Aryan in connection with the case. “Preliminary investigation indicates that the teenager was murdered prior to the ransom letter. The letter was likely a ploy to divert attention,” stated the police.
The motive behind the murder remains unknown at this time. Authorities are continuing their investigation to uncover the reasons behind this horrific crime.
