A sex worker in Las Vegas is facing charges of attempted murder, residential burglary, and robbery after allegedly beating an older man with limited mobility inside a hotel room on the Las Vegas Strip. The incident, which resulted in the theft of thousands of dollars, was captured on video surveillance.
According to documents obtained by 8 News Now Investigators, Napria Wilson, 26, was accused of assaulting the man, who uses a mobility scooter, and stealing his wallet. The man, who was in his late 60s, told police that he had brought Wilson to his room after meeting her on the casino floor. He claimed that he gave her $500 for her services, but she became argumentative and demanded more money.
The man suffered serious injuries from the attack, including a broken face and multiple facial fractures. He was found on the floor of his room, covered in blood. Surveillance footage showed Wilson leaving the room and later vomiting in a taxi. She apologized to the driver and appeared to pass him a $100 bill to convince him to drive her away quickly.
Police were able to identify Wilson through the taxi company and arrested her outside her Henderson apartment on November 1. She remains in custody at the Clark County jail with bail set at $75,000.
This is not the first time Wilson has faced legal trouble. In 2021, she was arrested for attempted murder and domestic battery, but pleaded no contest to the domestic battery charges and avoided jail time. Additionally, she has been charged with soliciting or engaging in prostitution in a separate incident on October 5.
In an unrelated case, two women are set to go on trial next year for allegedly luring a man to his Caesars Palace hotel room, robbing him, and ultimately murdering him.
