Trump’s Bold Assertion: Declares Victorious Sweep of All 50 States in 2020 Election

In a campaign event held in Florida on Saturday, Donald Trump exhibited his usual tendency of taking credit for victories he did not earn. He boldly claimed to have won all 50 states during the 2020 election, disregarding the fact that Joe Biden secured victories in Arizona, Nevada, Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Georgia, accumulating 74 electoral college votes.

Addressing the Freedom Summit outside Orlando, Florida, Trump confidently declared, “We won, the last time, 50 states, think of it, 50 states. We won every state. We then did great in the election. We got 12 million more votes or so … 12 million more votes than we got the first time.”

Despite facing 91 criminal charges across four indictments, two of which are related to election interference, Trump refuses to acknowledge that Biden emerged victorious against him. ABC News highlights this refusal, emphasizing that it does not appear to hinder his determination. Moreover, Trump seems undeterred by the likelihood of Biden securing another win in the upcoming 2024 election.

Dismissing the election results, Trump boldly stated, “The whole thing is a lie … the whole election is a lie,” during his speech on Saturday. Prior to his speech, former state governors Asa Hutchinson and Chris Christie attempted to present alternative perspectives to Trump’s claims. Hutchinson even reminded the audience, “There is a significant likelihood that Donald Trump will be found guilty by a jury on a felony offense next year.”
