Is It Worth Joining? Discover Why It’s the Most Affordable Choice for Millions of Members

Costco is now providing its members with access to online healthcare services for just $29. This new service is made possible through a partnership with Sesame, a direct-to-consumer healthcare marketplace. Costco members in all 50 states can now conveniently book healthcare services directly through their memberships.

David Goldhill, the co-founder and CEO of Sesame, highlighted the alignment between the two brands, stating, “Quality, great value, and low price are what the Costco brand is known for. When it comes to healthcare, Sesame also delivers high quality and great value – and a low price that will be appreciated by Costco Members when it comes to their own care.”

Costco members can take advantage of various perks offered by the new healthcare service. These include virtual primary care for $29, health check-ups with a standard lab panel and a virtual follow-up consultation for $72, virtual mental health therapy for $79, and a 10% discount on other Sesame services, including in-person appointments.

To access the special discount pricing, Costco members need to create an account on Sesame and verify their Costco membership through a Costco.com account. Sesame does not accept health insurance, which contributes to the low prices. Costco members can pay cash for healthcare even if they have a high deductible insurance plan, are uninsured, or simply prefer the affordability of this option.

While Costco’s healthcare services can save members a significant amount of money, it’s important to note that specialized care may not receive sufficient coverage through this program. However, Costco is not the only retailer venturing into healthcare services. Amazon launched its virtual clinic, Amazon Clinic, last year and it is available nationwide. CVS, Walgreens, and Walmart have also introduced similar offerings.

In conclusion, Costco is providing its members with access to affordable online healthcare services through a partnership with Sesame. This move aligns with Costco’s reputation for offering quality products and services at low prices. However, it’s crucial to consider individual healthcare needs and the potential limitations of this program.
