Newly Uncovered Police Report Sheds Light on Milan Lucic’s Arrest and Disturbing Domestic Abuse Allegations

Boston Bruins forward Milan Lucic was taken into custody early Saturday morning following an alleged domestic incident. New details emerged on Monday, with Daily Faceoff’s Frank Seravalli reporting that a 911 call was made on Friday night, stating that Lucic had attempted to choke his wife, Brittany, after a verbal argument turned physical.

Lucic is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, facing charges of assault and battery against a family member. According to a police report obtained by the Boston Globe, Brittany Lucic claims that her husband not only pulled her hair but also left red marks on her chest. The report indicates that the altercation began when Lucic accused his wife of hiding his cell phone and became aggressive when she denied having any knowledge of its whereabouts.

Officers who arrived at the scene noted that Lucic appeared to be intoxicated. Upon informing him of his arrest, they observed broken glass and a shattered lamp in the residence. Lucic was then escorted to his bedroom to retrieve clothing before being taken to the police station.

In response to the incident, the Boston Bruins announced on Saturday that Lucic would be taking an indefinite leave of absence from the team. A statement from the organization expressed their commitment to providing support and assistance to the Lucic family during this difficult time.

Bruins captain Brad Marchand addressed his teammate’s arrest, emphasizing the team’s concern for Lucic’s family. Marchand stated that the team considers themselves a close-knit family and expressed their sympathy for what the Lucic family is going through.

Lucic, who has been sidelined with an ankle injury since October 21, had recently signed a one-year contract with the Bruins after spending the first eight years of his career with the team.
