A college student from Datia in Madhya Pradesh who was kidnapped on Monday has been found at a lodge, according to the police official in Gwalior. The Senior Superintendent of Police, Rajesh Singh Chandel, confirmed that one of the two accused has been caught from Lahar.
The 19-year-old woman was abducted near Naka Chandravadni petrol station in Gwalior by two motorbike-borne men. The police managed to locate her at a lodge in Guna. The incident took place on Monday morning when the woman was disembarking from a bus in the Jhansi Road area of Gwalior. The whole incident was captured on CCTV footage installed at the petrol pump.
In the footage, two youths can be seen arriving on a motorcycle and forcefully taking the girl away. The police formed two teams to investigate the case and successfully apprehended one of the suspects. The search for the second accused is still ongoing.
