The prestigious award was presented to him at the International Emmy Awards ceremony held in New York. Vir Das was nominated for his Netflix special “Vir Das: Landing” in the Comedy category. This was his second nomination for an International Emmy, and he shared the prize with “Derry Girls – Season 3”.
