Adele Cancels March Performances in Las Vegas Due to Voice Issues

The British sensation, Adele, recently made an announcement through her Instagram account. She has made the difficult decision to “temporarily suspend” the 10 shows she had lined up for March as part of her ‘Weekends with Adele’ show in Las Vegas. This unfortunate turn of events is due to health issues that have negatively impacted her voice.

Adele kicked off these series of concerts in November 2022 and they were scheduled to run until June 2024. However, due to her current health situation, she needs to “take a break”. Her doctors have advised her that there’s no other viable option but to “rest”. This advice has interrupted her performances scheduled for March 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 29 and 30, as she shared in her statement.

She further revealed that she has been performing the last few concerts while “sick” and hasn’t had sufficient time to “recover her health before the next ones.”

“Regrettably, I have to take some time off and pause my residency in Las Vegas. I was already unwell towards the end of the last leg (January and February) and throughout the entire break. I haven’t had a chance to fully recover before the shows resumed and now I’m sick again, which has unfortunately affected my voice. Consequently, the doctors have ordered me to rest as I have no other choice.” Adele added.

Despite this setback, she assured her fans that the concerts will be postponed to later dates and she is currently “working on the details.”
