Class 4 Boys Brutally Assault Classmate with Compass 108 Times Following School Altercation

A Class 4 student in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, was reportedly attacked by three of his classmates using a geometry compass during a fight at a private school. The incident occurred on November 24 and the student was allegedly attacked 108 times. The Child Welfare Committee (CWC) has taken notice of the incident and has requested an investigation report from the police.

CWC chairperson, Pallavi Porwal, expressed shock at the case and stated that they are seeking the investigation report to understand the reason behind such violent behavior from children of such a young age. The committee plans to provide counseling to the children and their families and also explore whether the children are exposed to violent video games.

The victim’s father shared that his son had scars from the attack and that he is unaware of the motive behind the violent behavior of his son’s classmates. He also mentioned that the school management has not provided the CCTV footage of the classroom. A complaint has been lodged at the Aerodrome police station.

All the children involved in the incident are below the age of 10, and appropriate legal measures are being taken to address the situation.
