Elon Musk Plans to Launch X Dating App, Aims to Help X Users Find Love

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, has revealed his plans to transform X, formerly known as Twitter, into an all-in-one app. This ambitious project has sparked speculation about what exactly the app will include. In a recent internal meeting, Musk hinted at an unexpected addition to the platform – a dating feature.

Musk has previously stated that X should compete with popular sites like YouTube, LinkedIn, FaceTime, and even banking apps in order to become a comprehensive solution for users. Now, he wants to incorporate a dating app-like feature for people to find love on the platform, according to a report by Verge.

During the meeting, which marked one year since Musk’s acquisition of Twitter for $44 billion, he and CEO Linda Yaccarino informed employees that the company is rapidly evolving from “Twitter 1.0” to the “everything app.”

Musk referred to X’s recent update, which allows verified organizations to post job listings, as an example. He emphasized that a person’s X posts can serve as a significant indicator of whether they would be a good fit for a job. Similarly, he believes the platform could help users find suitable romantic partners based on what they write.

When asked about the possibility of X becoming a dating platform, Musk confirmed that there are already some developments in that area. However, he expressed the need for improvement in terms of discovering interesting people, as the process of discovery can be challenging.

In other news, according to Bloomberg’s Billionaire Index, Musk’s net worth has fallen to $193 billion, marking the first time it has dipped below $200 billion. The report states that the world’s richest man has lost $41 billion since October 18.
