Elvish Yadav Summoned for Second Round of Questioning in Snake Venom Case

Influencer Elvish Yadav is set to undergo a second round of questioning regarding the use of snake venom at a party in Noida earlier this month. Yadav, a popular YouTube personality and winner of the Bigg Boss reality show, may be confronted with the other individuals implicated in the case during this stage of questioning.

Last night, Yadav was interrogated by the Noida police at the Sector 20 Police Station. Accompanied by his legal counsel, the social media influencer, known for his large following, cooperated with the authorities.

Yadav has been named in an FIR registered under the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972. Thus far, five individuals have been apprehended in connection with the incident. Nine snakes, including five cobras, were rescued from the venue where the party was held. Approximately 20 ml of suspected snake venom was also recovered.

However, the police have clarified that Yadav was not present at the party, and his questioning is based on the statements made by Rahul Yadav, one of the individuals arrested.

The 26-year-old influencer has vehemently denied all allegations against him.

The case was initiated following a complaint from an officer of the animal rights organization People For Animals. The NGO had posed as customers interested in obtaining snakes for a party and had contacted the accused. During the investigation, the suspects claimed to have supplied snake venom at rave parties allegedly organized by Yadav.
