Fatal Outcome: Man Succumbs to Severe Head Injuries in Grandview Heights

A 57-year-old man from central Ohio who was found unconscious in Grandview Heights earlier this week has passed away, according to the Grandview Heights Division of Police. Stephen Albright, 57, died on Friday morning after being discovered with severe head injuries on Monday evening at West 5th Avenue and Dublin Road. While detectives are uncertain of how Albright sustained his injuries, the case has now transitioned from a felonious assault investigation to a death investigation.

In an effort to gather more information, the Grandview Heights police have released videos and photos taken by security cameras depicting two individuals riding bicycles in the vicinity. These individuals were seen in the area just moments before Albright was injured, and witnesses have reported seeing people assisting someone off the ground who then left on a bicycle.

The police have now shared new photos of the persons of interest in hopes of receiving tips from the public. Despite the incident, they have assured the community that there is no evidence of an ongoing threat to public safety.

Anyone with information regarding the incident or the identities of the individuals in the photos is urged to contact the Grandview Heights Division of Police at 614-488-7901.
