Gautam Adani Unveils Images of Mega Green Park Project

Adani Group is undertaking the construction of the world’s largest green energy park in the Rann of Kutch desert area in Gujarat. This massive project will cover an expansive 726 sq km of land and aims to generate 30 GW of power, which can supply electricity to over 20 million households.

Gautam Adani, the Chairman of the Adani Group, shared the exciting news on X. He expressed his pride in contributing to India’s remarkable progress in renewable energy and emphasized that this monumental project can even be seen from space. Adani further stated that the park will play a crucial role in India’s journey towards sustainable energy and will support the country’s commitment to the Solar Alliance and the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative.

Adani also mentioned another significant endeavor taking place just 150 km away in Mundra, Gujarat. The group is creating one of the world’s most extensive and integrated renewable energy manufacturing ecosystems for solar and wind. This development marks a significant milestone in India’s pursuit of sustainable energy sources.

Accompanying the announcement, Gautam Adani shared images showcasing the progress of the ongoing project. These images depict the transformation of the desert landscape into a thriving green energy park.

The establishment of this green energy park by the Adani Group will contribute to India’s efforts to expand its green energy capacity and fulfill its climate action commitments made at COP26. India’s pledges include achieving 500 GW of non-fossil electricity capacity, generating 50% of energy from renewable sources, and reducing emissions by 1 billion tonnes by 2030.
