Amazon’s second Prime Day of 2023 will take place on Tuesday, October 12. However, even if you don’t have a Prime membership, you can already take advantage of some early deals leading up to the big sale. These Prime-exclusive deals can be accessed without paying for a subscription, but there is a small catch.
To enjoy the benefits of Prime without being a paying subscriber, you can sign up for a 30-day free trial before the start of the event. This will give you entry to the Prime Early Access Sale. We will guide you through the process of signing up for the free trial and also explain how to cancel your subscription so that you don’t have to pay anything.
To sign up for Amazon Prime, follow these steps:
1. Visit Amazon.com and sign into or create your Amazon account.
2. Select “Prime” from the account menu bar.
3. Tap or click “Start your 30-day free trial.”
4. Ensure that your credit or debit card information is up to date.
5. Tap or click “Start your 30-day free trial.”
6. That’s it! You can now start shopping and enjoy Prime membership benefits like expedited shipping and Prime Day deals.
To cancel your Prime membership before being charged, follow these steps:
1. Sign in to your Amazon account at Amazon.com.
2. Go to your account menu.
3. Select “Prime” (on computer) or “Manage Prime membership” (on phone), and then tap “Manage membership.”
4. Select “End Membership.”
5. Tap or click “End My Benefits.”
6. Select “Continue to Cancel.”
Your Prime account should now be canceled. You can double-check by adding an item to your cart and checking if you still have the option for next-day or two-day shipping with Prime. If you don’t, then you have successfully canceled your membership.
