Haryana Chief Minister: If Elvish Yadav Is At Fault, He Will Be Punished
Karnal, Haryana: In relation to the FIR filed against popular YouTuber Elvish Yadav in the snake venom supply case, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar stated on Sunday that he has no influence over the case proceedings. He emphasized that the police would take appropriate action if Elvish is found guilty.
“The police will take action in the case. We don’t have any say in this. If he (Elvish Yadav) is at fault, then he will be punished,” said Mr. Khattar.
It is worth noting that Mr. Khattar had shared the stage with Elvish during his fan meet, where the Haryana CM congratulated the YouTuber for his victory in Bigg Boss OTT-season 2.
However, this event led to a major backlash on social media, with netizens questioning the Haryana CM for not honoring and celebrating sports icons from Haryana instead.
An FIR was filed against six individuals, including Elvish, for allegedly supplying snake venom at a rave party in Noida.
Elvish has vehemently denied any involvement in the supply of snake venom at the rave party. In a personalized YouTube video released on Saturday, he refuted the charges and expressed his willingness to surrender if found to be connected to the matter.
