Passengers on a Haryana Roadways’ Karnal-Chandigarh bus were taken by surprise when Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar joined them on their journey. The Chief Minister traveled to Ambala Cantonment along with the other passengers, engaging in conversations and sharing his experiences.
During the bus ride, Mr. Khattar also interacted with the bus conductor, who explained the e-ticketing system to him. The Chief Minister captured his bus ride experience in a video and shared it on social media. In the video, he expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to understand the people’s journey and their joys and sorrows. He praised Haryana Roadways as the pride of the state.
The passengers on the bus were thrilled to meet the Chief Minister and eagerly took out their cameras to capture the moment. In the shared video, a woman passenger requested Mr. Khattar to speak to her husband on the phone, and he happily obliged. The Chief Minister humorously remarked that the woman does not refer to her husband by his name.
During the journey, the Chief Minister made a stop at a roadside dhaba (eatery) where he interacted with a group of people. Police vehicles accompanied the bus throughout the journey to ensure the Chief Minister’s safety.
Mr. Khattar expressed that this memorable journey would always inspire him to work towards the betterment and progress of the state.
