“Our ships, submarines, and aircraft have sustained a high operational tempo – undertaking missions and tasks encompassing military, diplomatic, constabulary and benign roles,” Admiral Kumar stated. He further emphasized that the Navy’s units were deployed across the Indian Ocean Region and beyond to safeguard and promote national interests.

The Navy has worked diligently to ensure it remains a “Combat-ready, Credible, Cohesive, and Future Proof” force. Its “ships first” outlook aims to enable both men and women in operational units to perform their duties effectively. Admiral Kumar expressed satisfaction with the Navy’s operational front, highlighting its persistent presence across the Indo Pacific region.
