Juventus Fans Split Over Allegri

Marcello Lippi, a renowned figure in football coaching, recently shared some insights into his success mantra during a conversation with Fabio Fazio on the show Che tempo che fa, aired on Nove. Lippi, who boasts an impressive track record with Juventus and led Italy to a glorious victory in the 2006 World Cup, is now the subject of the docufilm ‘Now I Win’. His response to whether he has always won was both humble and candid – “Have I always won? Not always, enough.”

Lippi credited his victories to the excellent team of players he had the privilege to work with, stating, “I was lucky enough to have good players, without good players you can’t win.” However, he was also quick to acknowledge his own role in these successes, adding “I was quite good too…” Lippi believed in instilling a winning mindset in his team, often reminding his players before each event that the goal was to win and not merely to participate.
