Korean actress Jung Joo Yeon has announced her divorce from her non-celebrity husband after being married for six months. The news was officially confirmed by NEVER DIE Entertainment on Saturday, who also revealed that the couple has not been living together for a month now.
The agency stated, “It’s true that last month, Jung Joo Yeon and her husband mutually agreed to end their marriage,” as quoted by Soompi. Interestingly, Ms. Yeon and her husband did not register their marriage, so they do not have to go through the formal divorce process.
Once the news of the actress’ separation spread online, many of her fans reacted to the news. One user expressed surprise, saying, “Just 6 months?! Why not date first?” Another user showed support, stating, “As long as you are not hurting anyone, go for it.”
Jung Joo Yeon made her acting debut in 2009 and is well-known for her roles in projects such as Stormy Lovers, Princess Aurora, City Of The Sun, and Twenty.
