Lawyer Files Fresh Complaint Alleging Mahua Moitra’s Trespassing and Intimidation of Staff

A lawyer who previously accused Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra of accepting bribes to ask questions in parliament has now filed a new complaint against her. The lawyer, Jai Anant Dehadrai, had previously written to the Delhi Police commissioner expressing concerns for his safety. In his latest complaint, he accuses Moitra of trespassing and intimidating his staff. Moitra has dismissed Dehadrai as a “jilted ex” and denies the allegations.

Dehadrai had initially written to the CBI and BJP MP Nishikant Dubey, alleging that Moitra had accepted bribes from businessman Darshan Hiranandani in exchange for asking questions in parliament. These complaints prompted an ongoing investigation by the Lok Sabha Ethics Committee into Moitra’s conduct.

The lawyer’s latest complaint adds to the controversy surrounding Moitra, who has been under scrutiny since the bribery allegations surfaced. The Delhi Police are now tasked with investigating the new accusations against the Trinamool MP. Moitra has yet to respond to the latest complaint.
