Noida Gang Exposed: Unveiling the Shocking Drug Supply Chain Targeting Students

Noida Gang Arrested for Supplying Drugs to College Students

The police in Noida have successfully dismantled a gang involved in the distribution of drugs to college students, leading to the arrest of nine individuals. The operation also resulted in the recovery of a substantial quantity of drugs, both Indian and foreign in origin. Among the seized substances were 15 kg of marijuana, 30 gm of cocaine, 20 gm of MDMA (pills), and 150 gm of hash, with an estimated value of approximately Rs 25 lakh.

In addition to the drugs, authorities also confiscated two electronic weighing machines, 10 mobile phones, and Rs 3,200 in cash. Furthermore, an SUV and two motorcycles that were being utilized for drug delivery were impounded.

The leader of the gang, Akshay Kumar, was responsible for supplying drugs to various colleges and universities across Noida. The police revealed that Kumar’s wife works in Taiwan, which allowed him to procure drugs through her connections. Another member of the gang, Narendra, who hails from Rajasthan, specialized in supplying marijuana to students living on college campuses or as paying guests.

The gang employed social media platforms such as Snapchat, Telegram, and WhatsApp to discreetly deliver drugs to students. To avoid suspicion, small parcels were used, making them resemble packages from popular online retailers like Amazon and Flipkart. Each parcel was sold for approximately Rs 7,000-8,000.

This successful crackdown on narcotics follows recent raids conducted by the police throughout educational institutions in the Gautam Buddha Nagar district, resulting in the arrest of several drug suppliers. Just last week, a raid led to the seizure of over 260 kg of marijuana.

The police’s swift action has safeguarded the well-being of college students and sends a strong message that drug-related activities will not be tolerated.
