The police in Delhi have discovered the body of a 23-year-old woman with signs of strangulation inside a bag at a residence in the Vishwas Nagar area of East Delhi’s Shahdara district. The incident took place on Sunday, and the victim has been identified as Shama, a resident of New Sanjay Amar Colony.
Authorities received a PCR call at 4:44 PM reporting a suspicious bag in a room near Gali No 10, Vishwas Nagar. Police and forensic teams were dispatched to the scene, where they conducted a thorough examination. Upon opening the bag, they found the lifeless body of a woman who had been strangled.
A case has been registered under the appropriate sections of the law, and further details are awaited. The investigation is ongoing.
