Police: Rajasthan Man Commits Horrific Crime, Slitting Daughter’s Throat and Setting Her on Fire

In a tragic incident in Rajasthan’s Pali district, a man has been accused of killing his daughter by slitting her throat and setting her on fire. The police are currently making efforts to apprehend the accused, who is on the run.

Preliminary investigation reveals that the accused, Shivlal Meghwal, had been living separately from his family in Pali for the past 12 years. His wife and children resided in Gujarat. According to the deceased’s relatives, Meghwal believed that his elder daughter, Nirma, who was married, was the cause of discord in the family.

On Monday, Nirma had come to Isali village in Pali to attend a wedding ceremony. It was during this time that her father met her and asked both her and her younger sister to accompany him to a secluded place. Meghwal asked his younger daughter to wait while he took Nirma ahead.

At the secluded spot, Meghwal allegedly slit Nirma’s throat and then proceeded to set her body on fire after pouring petrol on it. When he returned, his other daughter noticed blood on his hand and raised an alarm. The villagers were alerted, and upon discovering Nirma’s partially burnt body, they informed the police.

This tragic incident has left the community in shock and disbelief. The police are actively searching for the accused, who must be brought to justice for this heinous crime.
