Police: Woman in US stabs boyfriend in the eye after catching him glancing at other women

A woman from the United States has been charged with assault after allegedly stabbing her boyfriend in the eye with rabies needles for looking at other women. The incident occurred in Miami-Dade County, Florida on Saturday.

The couple, who had been in a relationship for eight years, had an ongoing argument about the boyfriend’s habit of checking out other women. According to the boyfriend, he was lying on a couch when his girlfriend, Sandra Jimenez, attacked him with two rabies needles, piercing his right eyelid.

The victim was immediately taken to a local hospital for medical treatment. Meanwhile, Jimenez fled the scene but was later found sleeping in a car outside the residence by the police.

Authorities have charged Jimenez with assault for using the rabies needles as a weapon. However, she has not pleaded guilty and instead claimed that the injuries were self-inflicted.

It is worth mentioning that the boyfriend had initially bought the rabies shots for their dogs, but the needles ended up causing harm to his own eyes during the altercation.
